How the district is working to replace aging HVAC equipment, improve student comfort

The Mehlville Board of Education has unanimously approved several bids to replace aging HVAC equipment. As a result of the increase in assessed values of Mehlville School District properties, the board has approved almost $8 million in bids for HVAC work in the summer of 2024 alone.

Rogers Elementary School is part of Mehlville School District. POG The Mehlville School District mission is to build a high-performing school system rooted in the community's desire to build a culture of improvement for staff and students. Mehlville School District believes that all of our graduates should be creative and critical thinkers, self-aware, persistent, communicators, and ethical and global. We call this our Portrait of a Graduate.

Located in south St. Louis County, Mehlville School District encompasses all or part of the unincorporated communities of Mehlville, Oakville, Concord and Lemay. Through its dedication to providing institutional excellence, fiscal responsibility and community benefit, our fully accredited district serves the educational needs of about 10,000 children in a community of about 96,000 residents within 42 square miles.
