Dear Rogers Families,
It has been a lovely week at Rogers as we continue learning across all content areas. This week, I had the pleasure of visiting many classrooms and was impressed by the high levels of teaching and learning happening each day. These visits have only reinforced my belief that we are living out our mission to ensure high levels of learning for all. I am grateful for the dedication of our teachers and staff, who work tirelessly to create an environment where learning thrives and everyone feels they belong.
Our school community would not be the same without the incredible support of our parents and the Rogers Parent Organization (RPO). Your time, efforts, and resources make a lasting difference, and we are truly fortunate to have such a strong partnership with our families. Your support is invaluable, and we are deeply grateful for everything you do to help us make Rogers a place where students can succeed and grow. Thank you.
On a personal note, my journey continues as I prepare for the Springfield, IL marathon this November. I am excited for this next challenge after completing the Detroit, MI marathon last year. This Saturday, I’m aiming for a 16-mile run and hope for some favorable weather! While I’m confident about the November race, I’ll feel even more prepared once my training includes 20-mile runs, which should happen by mid-October.
I wish everyone a restful and enjoyable weekend!

Patrick
