Message from your Principal

Welcome to Rogers Elementary!
Posted on 11/24/2020

Dear Rogers Family,

On behalf of the faculty and staff of Rogers Elementary School, I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

In this time of giving thanks, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to every person in the Rogers community. I am so grateful for the work done each and every day by the members of the faculty and staff. Each contribution is tremendous, demonstrating a shared commitment to ensure the success and well-being of your child(ren).

I would also like to give thanks to all of our parents, grandparents, and caregivers who not only do so much to help their children, but have done so much to help the faculty and staff at school. This school year in particular, we have all worked together to ensure your child gets the best education possible. I am so thankful for all of your help. Parents, please know that I am continually inspired each and every day by you! Your ability to balance work, parenting, family life and all that goes with that ever important role is truly encouraging. Your ability to meet those personal challenges motivates me to do all that I can to be of service to you and your children.

I also want to thank and acknowledge our wonderful Rogers scholars! It is such a joy to work with your children. Our students are the raison d'être of our school and I cannot say enough about them. The kindness, grace, fortitude and happiness in life they exemplify is absolutely amazing.

Finally, I would like to say thank you to our Rogers Parent Organization (RPO). The members of our RPO are dedicated to our school and selflessly give countless hours of their personal time to make the school day better for our children and teachers. From the bottom of my heart, I am thankful for all RPO has done and continues to do for Rogers Elementary.

As we get ready to start our Thanksgiving and our ‘Connected’ Learning for when we return, I want to give you some information about those days:
