Greetings from Rogers Elementary School!
On behalf of the students, faculty, and staff, I welcome you to the Rogers Elementary School website.
I hope this message finds you well. As your principal, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your ongoing support and partnership in your child's education. Your involvement is critical to their success, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with you in this important endeavor.
I want to take a moment to remind you of the importance of staying connected with your child's teacher and the school community. Our teachers are working hard to provide engaging and meaningful instruction both in person and online, and we encourage you to reach out to them if you have any questions or concerns.
Lastly, I want to thank you for entrusting your child's education to us. We take this responsibility very seriously and will continue to work tirelessly to provide your child the best possible educational experience.
For our guests on our website, please know that at Rogers, there are many points of pride at our school. One of the critical points of pride and a crucial ingredient to our success is the great community we have at Rogers. Our scholars are fantastic, our teachers and staff are excellent, and we have a committed group of parents who are incredibly generous in their support of our school.
Each day, we all give our best effort to help every scholar learn at high levels, develop appropriate social skills, and discover the value of hard work, perseverance, and a "can do" attitude. Furthermore, at Rogers, we intentionally ensure that each member of our school community feels a sense of belonging. A child with a positive sense of belonging at school will feel free to take risks in their learning, ultimately leading to academic success. At Rogers, I want to ensure we open doors to opportunities for all our children.
In addition to promoting academic success, creativity, and critical thinking, a quality education extends to teaching and modeling the values of honesty, determination, integrity, persistence, perseverance, trustworthiness, and respect.
Beyond our school goals, students have many opportunities to excel outside the classroom. We have a chess team, character club, STEM club, student leadership team, running team, and bell choir.
It's written that "public education is the greatest pathway to opportunity in America." Each day we come together as a team to prepare our future leaders. We empower our students by implementing knowledge and skills that nurture the roles each will play in making our world better.
